I recently got a chance to listen to a few songs from YouTube friend Sean MacDonald and his band The Astronauts. They have a really good sound and their songs are rather catchy. One in particular, "Homlette", deals with many of my favourite issues: media, advertising, propaganda, etc. Anyway, here's a look at the music video I cut for their song.
As always, a tip of the hat to Prelinger Archives for the footage. The scenes were pulled from a number of television spots from the sixties and seventies. I'll be taking time off from cutting new stock footage mash-em-ups as I start work on other things, but I may come back to it from time to time.
